Rosalie has had over 30 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy with adults, adolescents, children, and infants and their families.

She has had extensive training in a range of therapies. She holds a number of qualifications including a Clinical Masters Degree in Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and is a graduate of the 4-year adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy training program conducted by the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists.

Rosalie's paper: "Can our Formative Years revive us in our Declining Years” about infant psychotherapy, was published in the Australasian Journal of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, 2006.  She is also the author of the chapter in the book: M. F. Hoyt, J. Young, & P. Rycroft (Eds.), Single session thinking and practice in global, cultural, and familial contexts: Expanding applications (pp. 3–26). Routledge/Taylor & Francis Group and a chapter in the book: Wenn die Zeit knapp ist: Der Single-Session-Ansatz in Therapie und Beratung German edition by Michael Hoyt (Editor), Monte Bobele (Editor), Arnold Slive (Editor), Jeff Young (Editor), Moshe Talmon (Editor), Pam Rycroft (Editor). Her group work with ‘extreme premature” infants is described in the chapter by Paul, C. and Thomson Salo, F., in Innovations in Parent-Infant Psychotherapy (2007) Karnac Books, London by Maria Emilia Pozzi (Editor) and Beverley Tydeman (Editor)  Imprint Routledge.

Rosalie has provided consultation and professional education to health and welfare professionals from various disciplines. She has presented at many local, national and international conferences, provided teaching and training in a range of academic and professional training programs and organised many conferences, public lectures and other events.  She has also played a major role in the development of academic programs, training programs and courses.  She has been a member of the Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists’ Training Committee and the Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australia’s Training Committee.  

She is a member of several professional organisations including:

The VAPP and CPPAA are Member Associations of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australasia (PPAA), which is a founding member of the Australasian Confederation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies (ACPP).

She is currently the President of the Glen Nevis Clinic (for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy) Inc. which is a Charitable Organisation providing reduced fee psychoanalytic psychotherapy to those who could not otherwise afford such services. The Glen Nevis Clinic (for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy) Inc. has Deductible Gift Recipient status.

Making an Appointment

Appointments can be made without the need for a referral from a General Practitioner. A Mental Health Plan is not required to claim Medicare rebates.

Medicare rebates apply to fees for all sessions throughout the year, and there is no specified limit on the number of sessions.
